Laurie Webb

Laurie Webb - The Mir Institute CoachLaurie Webb is founder and president of Webb Consulting, Inc. a Boulder, Colorado-based Company that provides global, on-line sales and marketing solutions to clients such as McAfee, 3Com, Polycom, Comcast, Cisco Systems and Hewlett-Packard to name a few. Laurie has over 20 years experience in leadership, team building, event management, marketing and channel / program development. Laurie has worked with fortune 500 high-tech companies, as well as, small and medium-sized businesses including community colleges. Laurie’s foundation comes from Apple Computer, where she spent almost 10 years working in various departments such as Developer Programs, Global Marketing, and eWorld.

Laurie Webb has her Masters in Leadership Development and a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Regis University, in Denver Colorado. She holds a B.S in Political Science from Santa Clara University and an A.A. Degree in Business Administration from De Anza College. Laurie is an Emergenetics Associate, Certified EthicsGame Partner and an EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association) Associate. Laurie has also completed several leadership development-training courses to include Bringing Spirit to Leaders (BSL) and Influence.

Susan McCarthy

Susan McCarthy - The Mir Institute CoachSusan McCarthy, founder of Saol Development, is a transformational coach and consultant who has over 20 years of leadership and coaching experience. Throughout her career Susan has been passionate about the development and growth of individuals, leaders and teams. She directly experienced the personal and business benefits of working with a coach during one of her most challenging programs and, as a result, incorporated and emphasized the role of coach into every aspect of her work. Susan's areas of business expertise include strategic planning, team and individual development and the design and leadership of both finance and IT program offices. Susan has held Director Positions with Storage Technology, Sun Microsystems and Oracle. In these roles she was responsible for the design and implementation of multiple transformation programs in both Europe and the USA.

Susan is a Chartered Management Accountant, holds a diploma in Social Studies from University College Cork, is a certified Project Manager, a Certified Emergenetics Associate, a Certified Emotional Intelligence and TESI practitioner, an Certified EthicsGame Partner and a member of the International Coaching Federation.

Dr. Dave Beaty

Dave Beaty - The Mir Institute CoachDr. Beaty founded Beaty & Associates, Inc. (BAI) in 1989. BAI provides information, analysis and direction to management. The primary emphasis is on strategic planning and marketing research. The company works with a diverse client base including organizations that provide professional services, consumer products, and corporate services. Areas of major concentration include health care/medical, hi-tech/bio-medical and automotive for national and international corporations.

Dr. Beaty is a senior-level research and marketing professional with 35 years of business-to-business, business-to-consumer market research and applied academic research experience. This expertise includes, but is not restricted to, the strategic elements of market planning and analysis, and research in support of strategic and conceptual development and product research. His technical competencies include all forms of qualitative research and most forms of quantitative research.

Prior to BAI, Dr. Beaty was a principal with Wilson Beaty & Associates, Inc. He also worked as Director of Market Research and Business Analysis for Citicorp Retail Services (CRS) and was Director of Market Research and Information Services for the United Banks of Colorado.

Dr. Beaty holds a Ph.D. in Social Personality Psychology from the University of Colorado where he was a four-year National Institution of Mental Health (NIMH) Fellow. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Pennsylvania State University. He has been faculty member at The University of Colorado, Boulder, an assistant professor at The University of Wisconsin, White Water and taught at the Colorado Graduate School of Banking.

Steve Moylan

Steve Moylan - The Mir Institute AdvisorSteve Moylan is owner and president of Mosaic Training and Development, Inc. Steve Moylan is a recognized expert in the field of Change Management, Employee Engagement, Customer Experience and Performance Management. Formerly a managing partner with The Gallup Organization and Greenwich Associates, Steve has been a frequent speaker on the aforementioned disciplines and has created and led sustainable change initiatives for organizations of all sizes for the past fifteen years. He has contributed to various books and publications on the topics of change management (e.g. "Follow this Path", follow on to "First Break all the Rules", "Smart Moves Management"). Steve’s experience includes work with Fortune 500 companies and government entities, including Mexican President Fox’s cabinet on the topic of strengths management.

Steve is bilingual in Spanish and English and received his B.A. in organizational communications from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with continued studies in Business at Bellevue University and Spanish at La Universidad de las Americas, in Puebla, Mexico. Steve also lived in Mexico for eight years and has extensive experience consulting on the Latin American and U.S. Hispanic markets. Steve is married with three children and lives in Colorado.
