Organizational change requires leaders to change. Change the culture — change yourself. Leaders must transform their mindsets, worldviews and perspectives. Only then can they significantly change ego-fueled behavior (control and command) in favor of promoting greater stakeholder commitment and contribution.

When leaders transform their mindsets, they often see the wisdom of consciously designing an organization that promotes a corporate culture that optimizes employee well being, social responsibility and sustainability. This builds stakeholder commitment.

Any company that aspires to succeed in this global business environment must move beyond “the profit motive” and look at how stakeholders are inadvertently contributing to the organization’s success. Leaders must become more mindful, authentic and empathetic in their style in order to foster a sense of employee “well-being” that promotes openness, trust, collaboration and organizational commitment - all key ingredients to achieving breakthrough results. Commitment to personal change is a fundamental part of cultural change for a sustainable future.

Without shifts in leadership mindsets and behavior, the old norms cause the organization’s transformation to fail. Mir Institute for Learning & Development provides an integrated way to transform your organization’s culture and leadership to increase stakeholder commitment and achieve organizational greatness. We accomplish this through:

Target Group

Executive teams and senior managers interested in achieving organizational greatness through developing self-awareness. Awareness flows into every part of work life and is fundamental to leadership effectiveness.

Program Content

This work is done in an off-site, group context. This allows leaders to work on breakthroughs in their individual mindsets, behavior and style, and quality of their relationships. Everything is applied directly to the current, real world challenges that leaders face in leading their organization to increased greatness.

The workshop design is limited to a maximum of 10-12 participants per session and involves:

  • Targeted pre-work entailing pre-readings and assessments.
  • Three two-day (6 days total) core development sessions from 8:30am to 5:30pm each day with overnight reflections.
  • Tools, theories and concepts for optimizing organizational greatness and sustainability.

Program Objectives

  • Increase awareness of how “reframing” assumptions and thinking can lead to more effective and sustainable behavior.
  • Recognize that our past influences our present behavior, and that our behavior is often based on unconscious or irrational drivers.
  • Demonstrate awareness of personal impact and accountability through actions that are good for self, others, the organization, the environment and the world.
  • Increase awareness of the social and environmental impact of business and apply moral and ethical judgments to decisions related to sustainability.
  • Understand the benefits of establishing a corporate culture that optimizes stakeholder well-being and social responsibility while implementing the business strategies.
  • Achieve leadership alignment.
